The validity of ancestry visa is for five years after which the visa holder can able to apply for the citizenship of UK. After completion of five years in the UK, the candidate can apply for the indefinite leave to remain in England by providing the evidence that he has been spent five years with a continuous and permanent job in the UK.

The ancestry visa holders don’t need the point based immigration policy for their life and Work in the UK. They can do any kind of work for maintaining their cost of living during their stay at the UK.
